Asha means "Hope." The Asha House is a Christian orphanage in New Delhi India. Literally, it is the House of Hope for 25 children. My family recently visited the Asha House for two weeks. It truly is a house of hope, training young Christians in a world of 40,000-plus gods. What a hopeless society gasping for spiritual air as they make their flailing attempts to please gods that don't exist. Our prayer is that the people around the Asha House would trust in Jesus Christ Who is the Alpha and the Omega.

We witnessed daily prayer and Bible study with the children. Each of the children were extremely respectful of the staff members and us as their guests. Speaking of the staff members, did you know that one staff member fasts each day for the Asha House? Have you ever fasted for your employer? Did you know that each staff member only gets one day a MONTH off, and then, only from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM that one day!

Our team came back so humbled and almost ashamed of all we have here in the U.S. We want to do all we can to alleviate suffering of the saints and continue to point all of India to Christ. In many ways, that pointing can begin with the Asha House. Please join the team...

Respectfully,
Rich Baker
